1. Booking and Payment:
By purchasing your retreat ticket, you agree to these retreat terms and conditions.
Registration for the retreat is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Your retreat ticket includes all Activities offered and the main book discussion.
If a Shared Bed is purchased and the second registrant does not book the bed within 48 hours, your registration will be cancelled and a full refund (minus 10% admin fee) will be issued.
With a Weekend Pass, you will be given access to the house from 4p-10p Thursday, 8a-10p Friday & Saturday, 8a-10a Sunday. You will not be able to sleep at the house and you will be responsible for getting yourself to/from the Retreat house each day.
2. Cancellation and Refunds:
A 50% refund will be provided for any Standard Registration cancelled prior to 45 days before the start of the event.
We do not issue refunds for cancellations for Weekend Pass or additional activities. There is also no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.
If any retreat is cancelled by the organizers, a full refund will be provided.
Registration can be transferred in certain circumstances - please reach out if this is the option you need.
We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance for your trip, especially if flying and/or renting a car.
3. Participant Responsibilities:
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the retreat.
Participants must inform the organizers of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions prior to the retreat.
Any damage to property caused by participants will be the responsibility of the individual(s) involved.
4. Health and Safety:
Participants are required to comply with all health and safety measures implemented by the retreat organizers.
The retreat organizers are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur during the retreat.
Participants who imbibe alcohol during the Retreat understand that it is their responsibility to drink responsibly and follow all local and state laws and guidelines related to the consumption of alcohol. Rideshare will be provided to/from any group activity that involves alcohol.
5. Changes to Itinerary:
The retreat organizers reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, activities, or accommodations due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond our control.
Participants will be notified of any significant changes to the retreat schedule as soon as possible.
6. Liability Waiver:
Participants acknowledge and accept any inherent risks associated with participating in the retreat activities.
The retreat organizers, including their employees, agents, and affiliates, shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred during the retreat. Participants release the Book(ish) Retreat and all direct representatives of The Book(ish) Retreat, LLC and all associated vendors from liability for and hereby waive any and all claims for any loss, damage, injuries to person or property, death, claims, demands, lawsuits, expenses and any other liability of any kind, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with participant’s participation in or attendance at the retreat and all activities.
7. Photography and Media:
Participants consent to the use of their likeness in photographs, videos, or promotional materials related to the retreat.
Any photographs or videos taken during the retreat may be used for promotional purposes by the organizers, including but not limited to the website, promotional materials, and social media.
8. Privacy Policy:
Participant information collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purpose of organizing and administering the retreat.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our participants and will not disclose personal information to third parties without consent, except as required by law.
9. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
By registering for the retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
